Social Network of Graduates (SNoG)
While making the move may seem a bit daunting, there will be graduates from universities all around the country in the same boat. The Social Network of Graduates (SNoG) is an organisation that aims to assist graduates, particularly those who have moved from interstate, to meet each other and explore Canberra and its surrounds. SNoG is run by graduates and they organise a broad range of social events and activities that cover all interests, whether they be sports, arts, culture or sampling Canberra's nightlife.

Canberra and Beyond…
While Canberra has plenty to keep you occupied, the beach, snow fields and Sydney are only a short drive away. There are also wineries, mountains, and historic towns within an hour and a half's drive.
Michael, 2013 Graduate (relocated from Perth)
"Since living in Canberra, I have enjoyed getting involved in Latin dancing, tennis, foreign film festivals, art galleries and going for walks around Lake Burley Griffin. I have also taken weekend trips to Sydney, Melbourne and graduate trips to the coast and snowfields. Canberra has surpassed all my expectations."
Kristin, 2013 Graduate (relocated from Wollongong)
"I've really enjoyed the lifestyle Canberra affords graduates, providing a real work-life balance. There is always something on in Canberra and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in sporting, cultural and social activities. I would recommend making the most of every opportunity to explore Canberra, having made many new friends along the way."
